November frost.

This is a pattern of the bermudgrass going into dormancy which is the result of a few really frosty mornings.  Notice the tenth fairway still with a bright green color.  This is a result of a microclimate.  The fairway turf is closer to the warm soil temps than is the turf mowed at rough height.
