Course conditiom

The golf course has received over 2 inches of rain this past weekend.  Carts are restricted to the paths today.

This is a pattern of the bermudgrass going into dormancy which is the result of a few really frosty mornings.  Notice the tenth fairway still with a bright green color.  This is a result of a microclimate.  The fairway turf is closer to the warm soil temps than is the turf mowed at rough height.

New seed

We will be taken advantage of this cool weather in August and begin to seed  highly stressed and bear areas  on the greens.  Please use caution and play around these areas

Fertilizer Update:  There is minor fertilizer burn patches in the bermudagrass green surrounds between the bunkers from the application on Wed.  It didn't show until today, but it will grow out if in within the next week.   I hope you are able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather we have been given this week.

Soil temps 97 degrees

Even though the soil temperature is 97 degrees  the course is in great shape! Looking forward to seeing everybody out on the course remember to drink plenty of liquids while playing.
